About Me
I've been messing around with photography since the days of B&W film with my own darkroom. The transition to digital has been amazing. Being able to see what you're taking right away is a game changer.
For the last 10 years or so I've been working on and off to improve my beauty shots. I had the good fortune to study with Peter Müller in Frankfurt and generally ascribe to his style and aesthetic. Peter recommends shooting in sports mode and taking a lot of frames in order to capture the micro movements of your subject. This makes it challenging to use strobes and does increase the editing time, but from my experience it's well worth the extra effort. I tend to post in B&W. I have dabbled in all sorts of imaging such as video, drones and AI. At least for now, I am firmly rooted in still photography.
Right now, I am in the process of refreshing my portfolio after taking a hiatus from shooting.
Oh, and I also shoot landscape, sports, theater and travel.
Thanks,
Neil
